Risk Management Clerk
Job Responsibilities
Assists both the Compliance and Quality Control divisions of Risk Management and does projects as needed.
New Membership Onboarding
Allocation of new applications as they come in, to include but not limited to:
Other tasks:
Internal Audit
Allocation and tracking of audits for Internal Audit-CV team, to include but not be limited to storing past audits, and updating Excel spreadsheet of audit completions that contains:
Full list of CVS employees, their current manager, their start date and their current ‘category’.
Date of last audit
Frequency is related to experience/category:
- Super Newbie (brand new hire-4 weeks)
- Audits to be done weekly
- Newbie (5 weeks to 6 months)
- Audits to be done weekly
- Established (7 months +)
- Audits to be done monthly at minimum but ideally no less than every 2 weeks
- Expert (designated based on quality of work, not time in role)
- Audits to be done every 6 months
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to work independently, is comfortable on the phone, is a good communicator, adapts well to change, has a cheerful disposition, is able to make routine (not sensitive) decisions as necessary to complete the job and conversely is willing to ask for guidance when appropriate. Must have a sense of urgency as the job tasks are time sensitive. This is not a call center job.
This is a remote position which requires you to work Mountain Time (MT) 7am-4pm or (MT) 8am to 5pm. You may live in any time zone as long as you’re able to work the MT shift needed.
This position requires no background noise (dogs, neighborhood, family members, roommates etc.) because of the amount of time spent on the phone. A dedicated home office is required; you must provide a room, internet, a desk and a chair. This is a great entry-level job for someone with an eagerness to learn.
THIS JOB REQUIRES THAT YOU WORK AT A DESK, USING A COMPUTER AND HEADSET FOR AS MUCH AS 8 HOURS A DAY, ENTERING DATA AND CONVERSING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CLIENTS BY PHONE AND COMPUTER IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Because we are a highly regulated industry, you will need to pass a background check, including but not limited to credit, drug, criminal and also a review of your home office.
We will provide training remotely for this job. No FCRA, Compliance, Credit or Mortgage experience required, though that would be a plus.
Company software includes: Microsoft Suite, Meridianlink, DocuWare, Ring Central, Salesforce
This position does allow room for advancement and the opportunity to learn about the Reseller industry and specifically Reseller Compliance.
Bilingual not required.
HS diploma or GED minimum. This position pays $16 an hour.
