Summary
Works with the Advantage Credit Online system (Meridian).. Ability to analyze credit reports. Processing and completing all aspects of the rescores. Taking calls from clients and helping them to determine the best course of action for their borrowers. Ability to work and interpret the what if simulator and credit analyzer. Works with other rescore agents, manager and sales dept.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Takes rescores out of the inbox or the refax and assign to self.
  • Fill out all paperwork associated with the rescore and submit to the appropriate bureaus.
  • Enter all rescores into the tracking sheet and complete the information when the rescore is done.
  • Take phone calls regarding rescores and be able to help the loan officer/processor analyze the credit report.
  • Help loan officers/processors with the what if/credit analyzer
  • File rescores in docuware
  • Ability and willingness to reach out to clients and proactively call or email to try to generate rescore business in a time of slow down.
  • Complete tasks/projects that have been assigned by management
  • Maintains the integrity of Gold Mine with new phone numbers and contacts for creditors/vendors and updates existing ones wit current information.
  • Learn ongoing changes and upgrades to Meridian
  • Attends and participates in rescore express meetings.
  • Attends and participates in company meetings.
  • Strives to stay up to date on industry changes and regulations as well as company policy.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment despite interruptions
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and creditors.

    Education and/or Experience
    High School Grad/GED; experience in the mortgage and/or credit industries.

    Language skills
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as mortgage statements, HUD-1 settlement statements, bank and credit card statements, court documents and the rescore express manual.

    Reasoning Ability
    Ability to apply common send understanding to carry out instructions and requests.

    Computer Skills
    An individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Microsoft Work, Outlook. Demonstrate the ability to learn and understand Meridian, Docuware, Goldmine. Demonstrate strong data entry skills

    Work Schedules
    Must be able to work the hours as set forth by the manager. Overtime must be approved by management.

    Work Environment
    Your work environment should be free of clutter and away from outside noise and distractions.

    Productivity Standards

  • Average 5-7 rescores per day
  • Respond to all emails/voice mails within 1 hour of receipt
  • Rescore tracking sheet to be maintained on a daily basis
  • Detailed notes in the notes section of each file in meridian so that anyone can look to see the progress of that particular rescore.
  • Keep working and pending rescores well organized and up to date.
